Boycott Fox News Advertisers for Snubbing Ron Paul

Fox News has excluded Congressman Ron Paul from the New Hampshire debate Sunday, January 5th 2008. This was the last debate before the New Hampshire Primary and Fox excluded the congressman despite the fact that he carried a higher percentage of votes in Iowa than Rudy Giuliani. Fox News has failed to be fair and balanced even among their own party.

Call/Fax Fox's advertisers and tell them you are upset with Fox's decision to exclude Paul and that you are no longer willing to watch Fox or support their advertisers.

Fox News Bans Ron Paul from Debates

Fox News has decided to exclude Congressman Ron Paul from the New Hampshire debate Sunday, January 5th 2008. This is the last debate before the New Hampshire Primary and Fox has excluded the congressman despite the fact that he carried a higher percentage of votes in the Iowa caucus than Rudy Giuliani or Fred Thompson.

At DecideMyVote.com we have not endorsed Ron Paul, or any other candidate. However, we feel it is inappropriate for a news agency that claims to be "Fair and Balanced" to exclude a candidate that has made such a strong showing. Fox News disagrees with the views of Congressman Paul and has attempted to stifle his message.

We encourage you to call Fox News anchors and producers and let them know that you think it is wrong to exclude someone who took first place among independents in Iowa, beat Thompson and Giuliani, and has had great fund raising success, among many other reasons.

Shirt Section Update

I just updated the shirts in the merchandise section of my site. I have some general Decide My Vote shirts as well as one conservative and one liberal shirt. Clicking on the buy a shirt link will now take you to printfection.com/decidemyvote.

It used to take you to cafepress.com/decidemyvote. I still have a shop there, but I’m not a huge fan of cafe press. Both sites allow you to customize your size, color, and design. Then you just enter your address, and they ship the shirt directly to you. It’s a lot quicker and easier than taking orders myself.

By switching to Printfection I was able to get a little more consistency with the shirt prices. I still have to charge the base price, but with cafepress I could only offer the cheapest price on one shirt. Hopefully, this will save people some money.

I designed all the shirts in the shop. So, if you have feedback on my designs or have ideas of your own, I’d love to hear them. Email me your shirt ideas, and I may post them on the site. (You can also just comment on this post.)

The Beginning

The political atmosphere in America today is completely polarized. Everyone has a strong opinion. And everyone wants people to know their opinion. Not me. I think both parties have a lot to work on and both have some valid arguments.

So here’s the story. I set up DecideMyVote.com as a political party competition. This contest will determine for whom I vote in the upcoming presidential election. With every dollar donated, I will award one point to the party you specify.

Do you think that your party has the best argument? Convince me. Make a Donation. In November the final results will determine my opinion of the presidential candidates. In the meantime I will be posting the results of the competition on my main page. If you’re unhappy with who’s winning you can easily change it. My future blog post will be slanted to the left, right, or middle depending on who is currently winning.
